Infographics | Highlights of Guangdong 14th Five-Year Plan

Guangdong province is targeting economic growth of more than 6 percent this year, according to the newly released government work report delivered by Ma Xingrui, the Governor of Guangdong on January 24th.

Ma also proposed Guangdong's 14th Five-Year Plan in his work report. In 2021-2025, Guangdong aims to build a strategic spearhead for a new pattern of development, to become a high-tech and industrial innovation center with global influence and further the reform and opening-up. At the same time the province will continue to coordinate the development of urban and rural areas, and make effort to become a province of happiness and attach equal importance to development and safety.
