Guangdong, a manufacturing heartland and leading foreign trade player in the country, has been successful in resuming production and business after the COVID-19 outbreak while containing the resurgence of sporadic cases, according to the newly released government work report delivered by Ma Xingrui, the Governor of Guangdong on January 24th.

The province's GDP exceeded 11 trillion yuan in 2020 with an annual average growth rate of 6%, which has ranked 1st in the nation for 32 consecutive years.
