On May 13, a delegation of 11 Russian media outlets kicked off their visit in South China's Guangzhou, as the first stop of their trip in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With the aim of seeking growth opportunities through partnerships with China, the delegation was introduced to some of the key pillar sectors that reflect great economic vibrancy in the region.
On the fifth anniversary of the release of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Consul General of France in Guangzhou talked about the development opportunities and cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
“The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) gives people this opportunity to really do something which can help grow their businesses throughout the rest of China. British companies are welcomed to do business in GBA. And we want to facilitate that here,” said Mark Clayton, vice-chairman of British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong (BritCham Guangdong), when sharing with GDToday at the Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo 2023 (MSRE 2023) on June 2.
“The idea of being able to adapt and be well-prepared for the rapid changes in terms of policies, climate change and new technologies is becoming more prevalent among our members,” Laurent Arribe, Global Innitiative Senior Manager of the Bay Area Council, told GDToday during the Canton Tower Science & Technology Conference AIGC Summit 2023.
"Guangzhou is my favorite city in China. I find the climate in Guangzhou very comfortable, and the food here is so delicious," Japanese documentary filmmaker Takeuchi Ryo shared in an exclusive interview with GDToday.
