Evergreen Mak Cheung-ching is a popular Hong Kong actor. Because of his work, he has stayed in Guangzhou for a while. Recently Guangzhou conducted massive nucleic acid testing in many districts, and Mak took the test and participated as a volunteer.
Mak was moved by medical staff, especially when he saw medical staff taking off Hazmat suits and found their clothes were all wet. He called for everyone should take pandemic prevention measures seriously to protect people and also the city.
Since Mak has shifted his career focus to the Chinese mainland, he encourages Hong Kong youth to come to the mainland GBA cities, as there are many chances. “You are younger than me and have a wider range of knowledge. That makes it (finding opportunities in mainland GBA cities) more accessible.”
