The direct shipping routes from Zhuhai Gaolan Port to Brazil will officially launch on April 14, establishing a new maritime logistics artery connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with Brazil, according to the Zhuhai Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The routes will depart from Zhuhai Gaolan Port and directly reach the Port of Santana and the Port of Salvador in Brazil, covering Brazil's key mining and agricultural regions as well as its northeastern industrial belt. It aims to provide inland enterprises with a more cost-effective and efficient international trade channel, accelerating China-Brazil economic cooperation.
This new route marks a breakthrough in both speed and cost. It shortens transit time by 30 days compared to traditional routes and reduces overall logistics costs by more than 30%, helping businesses expand globally with greater ease and competitiveness.
