29th GBA International Auto Show to open on May 31

The 29th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show is scheduled to be held from May 31 to June 8 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). Aimed at holding a "new A-level auto show featured by technologies", this show focuses on the innovation of the automotive industry and technological iteration and works to create a new paradigm for the high-quality development of the smart automotive industry.

In 2024, the show achieved a leap in both scale and level. It made its first use of a 200,000-square-meter venue, which brought together about 200 enterprises and institutions. Over 1,000 cutting-edge vehicle models were displayed at the show, attracting 860,000 visitors. Moreover, the intended transaction volume exceeded 10 billion yuan.

In 2025, the auto show will continue to center around the theme of "Focusing on Technology, Looking Ahead, and Leading in the Market" and fully showcase the intelligent transformation of the automobile industry together with the M CUBE 2025. The conference focuses on automotive intelligent technologies and applications and aims to become a leading platform to drive industrial upgrading.

In 2024, Shenzhen became the "No.1 Automobile City in China" for its automobile production ranked first in China, with the production of new energy vehicles increasing by 69.2% and the penetration rate of new vehicles reaching 76.9%. The reason behind this is that the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link has further accelerated the flow of elements for developing industries in the GBA.
