Foshan, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, is a crucial city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Many compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao have not only actively invested in Foshan but have also enthusiastically joined the Foshan CPPCC family, becoming members of the Foshan CPPCC and participating in the city's political affairs.

Recently, the Fourth Session of the 13th Foshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held. Two Foshan CPPCC members from Hong Kong and Macao took questions from journalists at the members' passage interviews.

The members' passage interview is regarded as an important barometer of the Foshan Two Sessions and has been held for eight years. This year, Yuen Tim, Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong CPPCC Youth Association, and Ma Zhirong, Director of Dashunhua Investment Co., Ltd., both members of the Foshan CPPCC, shared their thoughts on how to deepen exchanges between Foshan, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Yuen Tim has witnessed and participated in the strengthening interactions between Foshan and Hong Kong. He had personally led Hong Kong youth to visit Foshan last year.

At the members' passage interviews, Yuen suggested that Foshan and Hong Kong could further enhance collaboration in areas such as education to strengthen interactions between the youth of both regions.

Ma Zhirong takes questions from journalists at the members' passage interviews at the Fourth Session of the 13th Foshan CPPCC.

Ma Zhirong, a committee member from Macao, experienced the grand celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to China. At the members' passage interviews, Ma proposed that Foshan and Macao could leverage their rich intangible cultural heritage resources and collaborate in arts and culture, jointly telling China's story to the world.

"The deep exchanges and cooperation between the youth of Hong Kong, Macao, and Foshan can not only enrich their artistic horizons but also lay a solid foundation for the inheritance and development of culture," Ma Zhirong said.
