DeepSeek launches localized deployment in Songshan Lake, Dongguan

Leading domestic AI model DeepSeek has successfully deployed at the Dongguan Artificial Intelligence Model Center in Songshan Lake. The center, developed by the Dongguan Digital Group, will soon open its doors, providing high-quality services to enhance efficiency across various sectors.

The center features 100 petaflops of domestic computing power, three foundational AI models, and two industry-specific models for manufacturing. It aims to support local enterprises and public service management, making advanced AI applications more accessible.

The recently deployed DeepSeek-R1 671B model allows users to develop natural language processing applications. This infrastructure will also support the Pangu model, facilitating efficient training and inference.

Future collaborations with AI leaders like Huawei are planned, focusing on integrating industry insights and cost-effective solutions to develop intelligent applications in areas such as quality inspection and supply chain optimization.

Additionally, the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory has launched MatChat AI, an innovative tool that compiles knowledge from over 280,000 research papers in materials science. This positions Dongguan as a potential leader in materials science knowledge services.
