Guangzhou Metro's lines under construction recently made progress! Metro Line 13 Phase II, from Tianhe Park to Yuzhu section, and Line 14 Phase II, from Jiahewanggang to Lejia section, have been successfully electrified and are likely to open this year. The northern extension of Line 8 and Line 12 have also ushered in new progress.

Line 13 Phase II (from Chaoyang to Yuzhu) stations Zhucun, Xiancun, and Chatou have introduced the power supply from the existing operating Line 13, Line 18, and Line 8, respectively, all of which have been transmitted. So far, Line 13 Phase II has completed 89% of its civil work. Out of the 23 stations, 18 have been topped out, five are under civil work, and the shield tunnels have been fully connected.

65% of the civil work on Line 14 Phase II has been completed. Out of the eight stations, seven have been topped out, and the remaining one is in the preliminary preparation phase.
