The airport authority has already showcased various autonomous vehicle models, most of which have already been or will soon be deployed at the airport.

Pony AI plans to provide airport staff at the Hong Kong Airport with Robotaxi commuting services within the airport and gradually expand Robotaxi travel services to urban areas of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong, an important financial hub in Asia, has a unique terrain and traffic environment compared to the Chinese mainland. In Hong Kong, vehicles drive on the left, and the traffic network is dense, with numerous multi-lane intersections and unique road structures. The Hong Kong International Airport is one of the busiest airports globally, ranking among the top in passenger and cargo traffic.

Pony AI has initiated autonomous shuttle services with fees at Beijing Daxing International Airport and conducted autonomous driving tests on key highways connecting Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, paving the way for future passenger operations.

In the future, Pony AI's autonomous demonstration vehicles will freely traverse multiple mutually recognized locations within the GBA, realizing cross-city autonomous travel services in major scenarios such as airports and high-speed rail stations and providing locals with safe, reliable, and convenient autonomous travel experiences.

Pony AI is also actively expanding its international presence, deploying autonomous driving businesses in countries and regions such as South Korea, Luxembourg, and the Middle East, realizing the overseas expansion of its technology and products. In the first half of 2024, Pony AI's fully autonomous Robotaxis received over 15 orders per vehicle per day.
