24 projects with investment exceeding 3 billion yuan signed in Guangzhou Nansha’s Dongchong Town

The Nansha Dongchong Town Investment Promotion Conference was held on December 28th, 2024. At the event, 24 key projects were successfully signed, with investments exceeding three billion yuan, expected to generate economic increments of over 10 billion yuan.

Dongchong Town, located at the northern gateway of Nansha District, Guangzhou, is a traditional Lingnan water town and a key area for technological industries. The Qingsheng area has attracted 247 companies, achieving a total revenue of 20 billion yuan and offering over 200 million yuan in corporate income tax reductions.

This year, Dongchong Town conducted nearly 50 promotional activities focusing on Hong Kong-funded enterprises, emerging industries, new energy, and new materials, attracting substantial upstream and downstream investments. During the new project signing ceremony, six new projects were signed with the town.

Additionally, the expansion of existing businesses was highlighted by new investments in several enterprises. Several industrial park development projects were also signed, further enhancing the town's industrial landscape.

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) Campus

Regarding industry-university-research cooperation, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and research teams from the Fok Yingdong Institute signed agreements with multiple companies. The technology innovation sector was also reinforced, with Yuexiu Group, a large state-owned enterprise, signing agreements with six projects. Yuexiu Group has attracted nearly 200 high-growth enterprises to Dongchong.

The conference also featured award ceremonies for the "Rising Star," "Development Star," and "Innovation Star." Additionally, overseas branches of local enterprises in Dongchong and business partners congratulated the event.
