Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to shorten check-in cut-off time to within 60 minutes from December 6

Starting from December 6, 2024, all international outbound passengers departing from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport will have more check-in time since the airport announced shortening the check-in cut-off time for all international outbound passengers to within 60 minutes (inclusive) of the scheduled departure.

Some international airlines operating out of Baiyun Airport have check-in cut-off times of less than 60 minutes. Specifically, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Aeroflot, Cambodia Angkor Air, Garuda Indonesia, Vietnam Airlines, and Lao Airlines have international flight check-in cut-off times of 45 minutes (inclusive) or less. Passengers are advised to pay attention to the check-in cut-off times announced by their respective airlines.

Some airlines have implemented differentiated service measures for late-arriving passengers to ensure flight punctuality. Passengers are urged to stay informed about relevant service announcements, as specific measures will be based on information published by the airlines.

In recent years, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has deepened its role as a transportation hub in Guangzhou and expanded its international route network. So far this year, it has added, resumed, or increased the frequency of over 50 international passenger routes. It has opened more than ten new global destinations, marking a steady growth in its international business.
