On November 27, representatives from the Hong Kong SAR Government and the business community visited Huizhou as part of the group's GBA tour, focusing on understanding the city's business environment and industrial systems, at the China-Korea (Huizhou) Industrial Park.

During their visit, the delegation gained insights into Huizhou's investment climate and the structure of industries. The group explored the prospects of the Zhongkai High-Tech Zone, and was briefed on the zone's listed companies and the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Science and Technology Innovation Park, which are part of joint ventures between the two sides.

The representatives took a keen interest in the “5+1” industrial system of Huizhou, especially in sectors such as artificial intelligence and energy electronics. These fields are crucial for the city's economic growth and align with the GBA's strategic development goals.

The group then walked to the exhibition hall where high-tech products were displayed. Representatives were particularly impressed by the advanced technologies in the hall, including lithium-ion batteries and 3D printing, engaging in the exhibition, asking questions, and taking photos to commemorate their visit.

After the visit, the delegates proceeded to the banks of Huizhou West Lake to enjoy the beautiful lake views and have a working lunch.

In the afternoon of November 27, the group continued the GBA tour with a visit to Shenzhen. The visit to Huizhou has not only deepened their understanding of the city's industrial capabilities but also highlighted the potential for further collaboration and investment within the GBA. As the tour progresses, it is expected to pave the way for more integrated development and innovative partnerships across the region.
