This year marks the 15th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic cooperation between CAS and Guangdong Province. During the forum, a matching event themed around scientific and technological achievements between CAS and Guangdong will be officially launched.
On November 17 and 18, enterprise demand releases and institute achievement announcements will be held in the fields of aerospace information, high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, new-generation information technology, new materials, biomedicine, and new energy storage and renewable energy.
It is reported that a total of 240 exhibition projects will participate in this matching event, covering six key areas: new-generation information technology, new energy storage and renewable energy, aerospace, ocean and agriculture, biomedicine and health, high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, and new materials.
Particularly noteworthy is that 25 exhibition items from Nansha's cooperation projects between CAS and local entities will be prominently displayed during the forum, covering the fields of aerospace, ocean and agriculture, high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, and new energy storage and renewable energy.

Equipment such as the "Explorer 6000" Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and the "Liaoyue" Comprehensive Research Vessel, as well as the blended-wing-body unmanned aerial vehicle and the "Lijian-1" rocket, will all be unveiled, bringing high-tech achievements closer to the public.
The "Explorer 6000" AUV, jointly developed by the Shenyang Institute of Automation of CAS and the Guangdong Institute of Intelligent Unmanned Systems, has broken through several key technologies such as large-scene stitching and target recognition of seabed images, autonomous obstacle avoidance near the seabed, and high-precision navigation and positioning. Now it is a powerful tool for China's deep-sea scientific research and is being widely used in deep-sea resource exploration, deep-sea underwater archaeology, and marine scientific research.
The "Liaoyue" Comprehensive Research Vessel is equipped with a large-scale lifting and recovery system, a national first, and possesses comprehensive deep-sea research capabilities.
The blended-wing-body unmanned aerial vehicle, with its unique blended-wing-body aerodynamic layout, achieves a perfect combination of miniaturization and long range, effectively serving the wide-area and long-distance monitoring of China's territorial seas.

This matching event will also align with the pivotal industrial sectors of Guangdong Province. During the event, CAS will ink agreements for over ten major scientific and technological collaboration projects planned for execution in the Greater Bay Area.
Thus far, Nansha has established 370 various innovation platforms and gathered 22 new-type research and development institutions. It is home to more than 1,100 high-tech enterprises, with an R&D investment intensity reaching 5.46%, making scientific and technological innovation an important engine for Nansha's high-quality development.
