The Trading Center is located in Zhongluotan Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, and spans a total planned land area of 2,000 mu (about 330 acres). It focuses on the trading of imported and cold-chain ingredients, high-end seafood, cut flowers, and other agri-products, with complementary services including central kitchens, intelligent logistics, and agricultural product testing. Following the trend of consolidating multiple single-purpose markets into comprehensive and multi-functional complexes, the Trading Center aims to become a modern trading center for agri-products, a supply chain hub for global high-quality agri-food, and a culinary-themed cultural tourism destination.

"The Trading Center will provide strong economic support for building new quality productive forces, promoting high-quality development, and facilitating Chinese-style modernization."

It is estimated that over 2,000 merchants will go to the trade center and create more than 50,000 job opportunities.

During the event, the 'Global Agricultural and Food Products Supply Chain Alliance' is officially launched as well. The Alliance seeks to improve the circulation and consumption of agri-food products in the Greater Bay Area by drawing on the region's strategic position as a gateway to global markets. It will support the sustainable growth of the agri-food supply chain by fostering stronger collaboration among companies, industry associations, and professionals. Through shared resources, information, and channels, the Alliance will work towards the digitalization, sustainability, internationalization, and market-driven development of the Trading Center.
