Guangzhou's Nansha hosts forum on global growth for enterprises

On October 25, a forum on enterprises' worldwide development was held in Guangzhou's Nansha District, which centered around the theme of "Going Global, Unlocking Growth".

Sun Yong, Director of the Publicity Department of Nansha, delivered a speech at the event, promoting the district in terms of its strategic position, geographical location, spatial resources, preferential policies, enterprise services, and livability. He appealed to enterprises and talent to gather in Nansha and jointly seek development opportunities.

Sun Yong stated that Nansha will continue to uphold the concept of open cooperation. The district will fully integrate the resources of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, utilize the "Going Global" Comprehensive Service Center for Chinese Enterprises, and accelerate the construction of an international service platform for cross-border investments and financing of enterprises.

Guests delivered keynote speeches and thematic interpretations focusing on areas such as the importance of high-quality globalization of Chinese enterprises to the Chinese economy, new trends in globalization, opportunities and challenges in the globalization process, and the new advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) in supporting enterprises to expand globally.

Xiao Geng, Professor of Practice at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Director of the Institute of Policy and Practice at the Shenzhen Institute of Finance, said, "As the golden hinterland of the three world-class cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, Nansha can leverage its potential and advantages during the transformation of the GBA to cooperate with surrounding cities and generate a synergistic impact."

Lyu Liangwei, Director of the Nansha Working Committee of the "Going Global" Comprehensive Service Center for Chinese Enterprises, stated that Nansha has established innovative government service functions, such as a one-stop service for ODI project filing, gathered professional service resources in law, finance, and taxation, and integrated high-quality resources from the Pearl River Delta to provide enterprises with public services, including overseas investment promotion and policy support.

During the event, the "Going Global" Comprehensive Service Center for Chinese Enterprises in Nansha, Guangzhou, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KPMG GBA Strategy & Development Office and HSBC Bank (China) Limited Guangzhou Branch to support the construction of the center.

Wilson Pang, Head of KPMG GBA Strategy & Development Office, said, "In the future, we can cooperate with the 'Going Global' Comprehensive Service Center for Chinese Enterprises in Nansha to provide enterprises with various relevant information on finance, taxation, and the business environment."
