China Southern Airlines is set to officially implement its 2024/25 winter-spring flight schedule from October 27, 2024, to March 29, 2025. During this new season, the airline plans to execute over 456,000 flights (round trips counted as two), averaging nearly 3,000 flights daily. The number of accessible destinations will increase to 244, including 163 domestic and 81 international and regional points.

Domestically, the airline plans to operate over 700 routes, covering more than 160 cities. It will increase flights on key routes such as Guangzhou to Jieyang, Yiwu, Yangzhou, and Kashgar, as well as from Beijing Daxing to Xiamen, Daqing, and Baishan. The airline is focusing on the business travel market, continuing to enhance its "China Southern Air Shuttle," with a new fast line from Guangzhou to Shenyang, expanding the service to 19 major business routes across 17 key cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu. The closing time for check-in for domestic flights at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport under this service has now been adjusted from 40 minutes to 30 minutes before departure, catering to the need for quicker travel.

In response to the rising popularity of travel and activities that take place during the winter months, often focusing on destinations known for snow, winter sports, and seasonal attractions, China Southern Airlines will add new routes from Shanghai, Xi'an, Wuhan, and Kunming to Harbin, with weekly flights to Harbin reaching 1,200. Additionally, popular routes from Guangzhou and Beijing Daxing to Changbai Mountain and Aletai will see weekly flights totaling 160. The airline plans to monitor market demand closely during the season and will introduce more winter tourism routes as needed.

On the international front, the airline aims to operate over 200 routes, connecting to regions including Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, and Africa. New and resumed routes will include flights from Guangzhou to Perth, Adelaide, Christchurch, and Nagoya, and from Beijing Daxing to Sydney and Melbourne. To meet the increasing demand for international travel, the airline will enhance its services on direct flights from Guangzhou to Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland.
