On the morning of October 14th, at the Baishaqiao construction site of the Guangfo East Ring Intercity Railway, a significant milestone was achieved. The first pair of 500-meter-long steel rails was smoothly laid on the ballastless track bed, marking the official commencement of track-laying works for the Guangzhou South Railway Station to Baiyun International Airport section of the Guangfo East Ring Intercity Railway!

This ambitious project, invested in and constructed by Guangzhou Metro Group Guangdong Pearl River Delta Intercity Rail Transit Co., Ltd., and undertaken by China Railway 25th Bureau, is not just another railway line; it's a gateway to seamless intercity travel!
