Germany investor in Hengqin at Canton Fair: Glad to see more and more Chinese companies develop their own brands and products with higher quality

He noted that China is facing a similar situation as Germany did 150 years ago, and that he is glad to see more and more Chinese companies developing their own brands and products with higher quality. He said that was the time when he decided to set up his own brand-development company in China.

Talking about his choice of locating his brand-development company in Hengqin, Mr. Haese said that he searched around China for one year for the best place, exploring cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and more, and finally decided Hengqin was the ideal location for the company, because he thinks that “it's most important to have a clear brain and also fresh air.” Hengqin boasts a sound environment and is a tranquil island with fresh, clear air. He is confident about Hengqin’s future development, believing that after Hong Kong and Shenzhen, Hengqin will be the next hotspot for development and opportunities, and he is glad to be one of the first-comers to develop business in Hengqin.

Mr. Haese is also proud of his contribution to the Canton Fair and China: the portable screen is invented by his company. He told GDToday that he noticed more and more such screens are now used at the Canton Fair. When asked about advice for first-time participants, he suggested sleeping less and attending the fair more so as not to miss anything about the Fair, its relevant events, and about China. “You should really think about having less sleep and waking up early to use the whole day at the Canton Fair and all the other events to make the most of your time in China.”
