Shenzhen Ocean University under construction, a new university choice in Guangdong

Shenzhen Ocean University is under construction in full swing and is expected to complete a number of projects by the end of 2026. At present, the complex for scientific research and teaching has completed 90 percent of the foundation and basic engineering construction, and 60 percent of the main structure of the student dormitory has been completed. The overall project progress is slightly ahead of schedule.

Shenzhen Ocean University (Phase I) is located in Baguang Subdistrict, Dapeng New District, with a total construction area of about 600,000 square meters, including a complex for scientific research and teaching, a gymnasium, a library, student dormitories, teachers' dormitories, as well as the deep-sea scientific research center and marine museum. The university will conduct integrated education for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students, with a planned scale of about 8,000 full-time students.
