Nanshan’s GDP exceeds 449 billion yuan in the first half of 2024

The gross domestic product (GDP) of Shenzhen's Nanshan District grew 5% year-on-year to 449.53 billion yuan (US$ 62.14 billion) in the first half of the year, according to data released last Saturday (July 27) by the Nanshan Statistics Bureau.

Of this, the primary industry added 28 million yuan in value, down 36.0% from the previous year. Conversely, the secondary industry experienced a year-on-year increase of 7.5%, contributing 124.55 billion yuan, while the tertiary industry grew by 4.1%, adding 324.96 billion yuan to the total GDP.

Nanshan's economy remains robust and stable.
