The buzzword "going global" resonates across Chinese enterprises nowadays.

On July 25th, the "Qianhai International Business e-station" was formally inaugurated at Qianhai International Talent Hub. The innovative platform integrates online intelligent information services and offline personalized assistance, offering a comprehensive one-stop solution for enterprises embarking on their international journey.

By efficiently consolidating and leveraging overseas service resources, it strives to become the "preferred destination" for Chinese enterprises venturing abroad and the "first port of call" for attracting foreign investments to China.

Wang Tinghua, the Customs Affairs Supervisor of Shenzhen CIMC Tianda Airport Equipment Co., Ltd., a company located in Qianhai for a long time, expressed his delight at the convenience. "Previously, we had to travel to Futian district to process our Certificates of Origin," said Wang. "Now, with the Qianhai International Business e-station, we can do it locally. It saves us considerable time and costs."

Zhang Yan, a member from Shenzhen Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Shenzhen), elaborated on the digital transformation underway. "In Shenzhen, issuing Certificates of Origin is now fully digitized and approved instantly, allowing self-service printing. However, a handful of countries, such as some in ASEAN, still require on-site collection, which causes inconvenience to enterprises. Given that around one-tenth of the one million Certificates of Origin issued annually originate from Qianhai enterprises, extending our services to this area is imperative for closer support," she explained.

The newly established service station has comprehensively integrated the globalization functions of various departments. It provides services ranging from overseas investment registration for projects and enterprises, technology import-export filing, issuance of Certificates of Origin, to international talent entry-exit procedures. Additionally, it offers intelligent information services, policy interpretation, strategic planning, and other macro-level support, enabling precise market connections and efficient resource matching.

"Through the establishment of the Station, Qianhai aims to serve as a base, platform, channel, and hub for enterprises going global. We will continue to improve the overseas service system, foster new advantages in international cooperation and competition, and attract more high-quality enterprises to explore international markets through Qianhai, ensuring orderly, effective, and safe overseas expansion," said Xiang Jun, an official from the Qianhai authority.

Over 20 institutions including China Merchants Groups and Amazon (China) Investment Co., Ltd.'s Shenzhen Branch have joined as the inaugural batch of "Overseas Service Providers," marking a significant milestone in facilitating cross-border endeavors.
