The four-month fishing ban along the Pearl River has come to an end. Starting from July 1, fishermen along the river are setting sail one after another to begin a new round of fishing.

The fishermen are enjoying a bumper harvest after four months of rest. They are busy casting nets, hauling in catches, and weighing fish, such as river shrimp and Heshun fish.

The Xijiang River shrimp, bighead carp, and white amur bream... various freshwater fish were served to the public. Many people even came to the scene to enjoy the first taste.

To celebrate the lifting of the fishing ban, many fishing villages in Guangdong held fishing festivals. The fishermen were busy catching fish in the river, while foodies sat around the stalls to enjoy the freshly caught delicacies.
