Recently, an airbus H135 helicopter took off from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport and landed in Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) after a 15-minute cross-border flight.

This marks the resumption of cross-border helicopter flights between Shenzhen and Hong Kong which were closed during the pandemic.

The helicopter service provided by HELI-Eastern (Shenzhen East General Aviation) will further shorten the distance between Shenzhen and Hong Kong and meet the local residents’ growing demands.
This year, Shenzhen is planning to open multiple urban and cross-border helicopter routes, such as, Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport to Shun Tak Heliport, Hong Kong, Shekou Cruise Homeport to Shun Tak Centre Ferry Terminal and Hong Kong International Airport.

The inner-city helicopter sightseeing route will start from Yanzi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center (Pingshan helicopter pad) and end at Bao’an International Airport (20 minutes) and Futian Great China International Exchange Square (13 minutes).
In the future, with more advanced low-altitude flying technology, passengers will enjoy more affordable and high-quality traveling services while feeling the unique charm of city vista.
