More direct railway routes! 2.5 hours from Guangzhou to Chaoshan

A new high-speed train (G6301) from Guangzhou North Railway Station to Chaoshan Railway Station will take just two and a half hours, according to the recently released railway operation plan for the fourth quarter of 2022.

Departing from Guangzhou North Railway Station at 8:03am, it will pass Guangzhou South Railway Station (8:25), Shenzhen North Railway Station (8:59), and Chaoshan Railway Station (10:32) before arriving at Raoping Railway Station (10:51), a county station of Chaozhou city. The return trip will begin at 11:46am and terminate at Guangzhou South Railway Station (14:08 ).

To meet the traveling needs of passengers, China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. (CR Guangzhou) has added the following trains.

Furthermore, some routes have been extended, linking major railway stations in the province. For example, Shantou will have the first CRH train to Wuhan and passengers from Guangzhou East Railway Station can travel directly to Nanchang West Railway Station and Hangzhou East Railway Station for the first time.
