Based on the data released by Foshan Customs, Foshan has registered 401.09 billion yuan in international trade from January to July, which marks a year-on-year growth rate of 13%. That also accounts for 8.7% of the total international trade value for Guangdong Province in the same period. As for the growth rate, Foshan ranks at the second place among the 9 cities in the Pearl River Delta.
Specifically, exports were measured at 338.27 billion yuan, an increase of 15.6%; imports were 62.82 billion yuan, an increase of 0.6% in Foshan.
In July alone, Foshan has created a value of 49.62 billion yuan in import and export, an increase of 14.5%. That includes 39.73 billion yuan in exports, which shows an increase of 17.4%, and an increase of 9.89 billion yuan in imports, which shows an increase of 4.2%.
Since the beginning of this year, Foshan has sought to sustain its industrial chain and supply chain, provide stimulus for foreign market entities and ultimately build up the market confidence.
