Revealed by Foshan Customs, in January, also the first month after Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into force, 275 RCEP Certificates of Origin (hereinafter referred to as Certificate) have been issued, which means that goods with a value of 13.04 million dollar enjoyed the tariffs cut.
Notably, 95.6% of the Certificates Foshan Customs have issued on the first month were for the goods shipped to Japan. Of all the goods exported overseas, ceramic tiles, textile and home appliances are the most competitive ones on global market.
Many local corporations have been benefited from RCEP.Guangdong BODE Fine Building Material Co., Ltd., a Sanshui-based corporation, now has aimed higher to expand the market in Japan, as its ceramic tiles, with worth of 283,700 dollar, has obtained 17 Certificates on January.As for Foshan Henglitai Machinery Co., Ltd., orders, particularly from Vietnam and Japan, have long stacked up, with some due as far as in this May.
With RCEP, export-oriented enterprises in Foshan is expected to expand their strong presence in the overseas market in the years to come.
