Upon operation, Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport is expected to handle 198,000 flights, 27.5 million passengers, as well as 104,000 tons of cargo and mail annually.

Work on other projects, such as the Zhuhai Airport Comprehensive Transportation Hub, Phase II of the Airport Urban Rail Transit, and Zhuhai Airport International Intelligent Logistics Park, is accelerating. Once operational, they will significantly increase the airport's capacity and help formulate a global airport cluster in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
